A culinary driven bar experience...
Award-winning mixologist and New Jersey native Stefan Huebner is a 25 year veteran of the Hospitality Industry. Starting at the age of 16 in the back of the house, he’s done stints as baker, butcher eventually earning a culinary degree and running his own kitchen as chef. Taking a break from the industry in the mid-90s Stefan traveled the Eastern Seaboard playing keyboards in an alternative rock band. That’s where he met partner Conrad Hunter when his band booked recording time in Hunter’s recording studio, White Room Studios. Somewhere along the way he began bartending for extra money which lead to the discovery of his true calling.
CONRAD JAMES HUNTER
8th generation Charlotte native Conrad James Hunter has worn many hats: first as a professional musician touring the lower 48 states during the 80s, as a recording engineer and producer during the 90s and eventually changing gears and entering the wine industry as a wholesale rep. This led to opening the award-winning Foxcroft Wine Co. Creativity and passion were the driving factors in both choices. Somewhere along the way he developed an obsession with single malt scotch and all things distilled. Typical to form Hunter dove head first into the field educating himself by reading everything he could on the subject and more importantly by tasting as many single malts as he could get his hands on.
